Welcome to Velono

Thank you for choosing the Velono theme! Velono is a highly premium, animation-rich Shopify theme designed for modern luxury brands. This guide will help you set up and customize your new storefront.

1. Getting Started

Installing the Theme

1. Log in to your Shopify Admin.
2. Go to Online Store > Themes.
3. In the Theme Library section, click Add theme > Upload zip file.
4. Select the Velono .zip file you downloaded and click Upload.
5. Once uploaded, click the Customize button next to Velono to open the Theme Editor.

2. Header & Mega Menu

Velono features a powerful nested Mega Menu that allows you to showcase large catalogs beautifully.

How to set up the Mega Menu:

1. In your Shopify Admin, go to Online Store > Navigation and ensure you have a nested menu set up (a main menu item with sub-links inside it).
2. Open the Theme Editor and click on the Header section.
3. Under the Desktop menu type setting, select Mega menu.
4. The theme will automatically convert any nested dropdown menus into a spacious, multi-column mega menu layout.

3. Custom Sections: Hero Dual Split

One of Velono’s standout features is the Hero Dual Split section, featuring staggered entrance animations and independent left/right panels.

How to configure the Hero Dual Split:

1. In the Theme Editor, click Add section and select Hero split slider.
2. Click on the section to adjust global settings like section height, overlay intensity, and animation toggles.
3. Click on the individual Slide blocks inside the section.
4. For each slide, you can upload independent media for the Left panel and Right panel (supports both images and auto-playing videos).
5. Customize the central floating text overlay and the call-to-action button to direct your customers to your collections.

4. Performance & Animations

Velono is built with performance in mind. All scroll animations, glassmorphism overlays, and micro-interactions are optimized for fast loading times.

• If you prefer a static layout, you can disable scroll animations globally by going to Theme Settings > Animations or within individual section settings by unchecking “Enable scroll animation”.
